Cook felt the performance at Gresty Road had positives to take – as well as plenty to work on.
A strong start in each of the halves were among the plusses, and the Blues boss felt the outcome was a fair one.

‘We started well and I was satisfied with how we went about the first 25 minutes.
‘We maybe lost our way a bit after that and then started the second half well.
‘People will have their opinions but I think a draw was a fair result.

There is concern tonight, however, for Jack Whatmough who came off with a knee injury – after suffering a cruciate injury last year.
