The football season may have come to an end, but the University of Portsmouth has a hat-trick of good news for you! It’s the 5th anniversary of the Help to Grow: Management Course, we’ve launched our MBA Consultancy Projects, and re-launched our Public Lectures.
Celebrating 4 years of Help to Grow
We’re celebrating the 5th anniversary of our Help to Grow: Management Course!
Over the last for years, our fully-funded, three month training programme has supported over 250 senior business leaders across south of England (inc. Hampshire, Dorset, the Isle of Wight, and Oxfordshire).
Dan Lodge and the Business Support team, couldn’t let the anniversary go un-marked and organised a fabulous celebration event for Help to Grow alumni. We welcomed back senior business leaders from across the 4 years. And, even checked-in once again with ‘Harvey, The Help to Grow Donkey' at The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary.
The University delivers the programme, which is accredited by the Small Business Charter (SBC) and is supported by the Department for Business and Trade.

Relaunching our Public Lecture programme
A University public lecture is like a free front-row seat to big ideas - where brilliant minds spill the secrets of their research, passions, and discoveries.
They're open to everyone, and it's your chance to get inspired, ask questions, and maybe even see the world a little differently!
Our first Public Lecture ‘Saving the UK's only island city’ took place on Wednesday 4th May, to an audience of over 100 delegates. This lecture featured an engineer from Coastal Partners, talking about how the new sea defences were built – along with a climate scientist talking about why they had to be built.
