Find the key to kickstart your fitness journey with Horizon Leisure

Looking for a health check-up or keen to begin your fitness journey but unsure where to start? Look no further than Horizon Leisure, which warmly invites you to its leisure centres in Havant and Waterlooville, as well as their unique Wellbeing Hub – conveniently located on the ground floor of the Meridian Shopping Centre.
“We’re more than just a gym, we’re a way of life,” says Horizon Leisure
We’re here to help you live and move better. There really is something for everyone; from baby’s first swimming lesson to our fantastic falls prevention classes. Horizon Leisure is a charitable trust, with the local residents at the core of all we do. As a charity, we don’t have owners or shareholders to pay – any profits we make are reinvested into the wellbeing of our local community by continually improving our sport, leisure and wellbeing offer.

The Wellbeing Hub
The hub is an informal, welcoming and relaxed safe space to access exercise and advice, staffed by Horizon Leisure’s team of professionals.
It offers:
· Free health checks, which can help spot early signs of kidney disease, heart disease, cancer, type 2 diabetes, dementia and more
· Blood pressure readings that feed back to your GP
· Health interventions, such as weight management programmes
· An exercise orientation programme, for those starting exercise for the first time or after an extended break
· Small group exercise classes
I joined the Wellbeing Hub four years after my retirement. I needed stimulation to exercise and the opportunity to meet other people. It was a revelation for me! As my fitness increased, my balance improved, my wellbeing improved and I made new friends whose company and humour I enjoy! I would highly recommend the Wellbeing Hub: Get up, join up and enjoy a new horizon.
