Circus Extreme brings “ROCK IT OUT” to Portsmouth this Easter – tickets on sale now

Circus Extreme presents: “ROCK IT OUT” – a ground-breaking new show fusing live rock music and death-defying stunts coming to Portsmouth this Easter.

Prepare for the ultimate fusion of live rock music and world-class circus stunts! In 2026, Circus Extreme returns with its most electrifying production yet—ROCK IT OUT! After years in the making, this genre-defying spectacle pushes the limits of live entertainment, combining adrenaline-pumping action, breath-taking acrobatics, and a powerful rock concert atmosphere like never before. The United Kingdom has been chosen as the exclusive launch destination, celebrating its rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted passion for live music and high-energy performances.

Merging modern circus, extreme stunts, classic clowning, and a full live rock band, ROCK IT OUT is a sensory overload designed to thrill, inspire, and captivate audiences of all ages. At the heart of the show is the high-octane action, the EXTREME® Freestyle Motocross Team who soar through the air, performing Superman grabs, cliff-hangers, and daring backflips, creating a visually explosive battle for airspace under the Big Top. The Danguir Troupe will take the spectacle to new heights with their Double Wheel of Death, where they’ll attempt—for the first time in the UK—the world’s first double somersault on the rotating wheel, a death-defying feat that demands absolute precision.

For those seeking even more heart-stopping action, the EXTREME® stunt riding team will take on the Globe of Death, a steel sphere where multiple riders race at dizzying speeds, executing vertical and horizontal loops under G-force pressures similar to those experienced by fighter pilots. The danger continues high above the stage with Skywalker Marlon, whose gravity-defying aerial trapeze act will leave spectators in awe as he executes mind-boggling stunts while soaring through the air. Bringing a touch of classic circus magic, Clown Edy will ensure moments of laughter and joy with his hilarious improvisation and timeless comedic routines, keeping the audience entertained throughout the show.

Pushing the boundaries of extreme acrobatics, the Didyk Troupe will perform their sensational Double Ukrainian Swing act, launching themselves from massive swings with precision flips, twists, and mid-air somersaults that push the limits of human capability. British circus icon Laura Miller will mesmerize with her aquatic aerial ring act, a seamless combination of fire, water, and aerial artistry that transports the audience into a visually stunning sci-fi-inspired world. Raising the stakes even further, Lucky Hell, an internationally renowned daredevil, will take centre stage with her aerial sword-swallowing act, performing this death-defying stunt while suspended mid-air, using genuine stainless-steel swords in a jaw-dropping display of danger and elegance. South American stunt legend Paulinho will ignite the stage with his high-speed street bike performance, demonstrating precision wheelies, stoppies, and intense burnouts, leaving the audience on the edge of their seats.

For the first time in Circus Extreme’s history, ROCK IT OUT will feature a full live rock band, complete with singers and dancers, delivering a powerful and electrifying soundtrack that amplifies the energy of every performance. This fusion of live music and extreme circus stunts will create a truly immersive experience, blending the raw energy of a rock concert with the thrill of cutting-edge circus acts.

Whether you’re a music lover, adrenaline junkie, theatre enthusiast, or circus fan, ROCK IT OUT is a must-see event. Housed in Europe’s Largest Touring Big Top, this fully climate-controlled venue offers comfortable theatre-style seating, ensuring every spectator enjoys the show in total comfort.
