From £3.99 a month, Yoto Club gives kids access to hundreds of stories, music and more.

If your child is a Yoto fan, you may have already heard of Yoto Club. But if, like me, you have a Yoto player at home and hadn't quite got around to trying it, it is essentially a subscription service designed to give children even more things to listen to, while potentially saving money on Yoto cards.

I have a Yoto Player at home and my son has really taken to having something to listen to as part of his bedtime routine, so Yoto Club immediately caught my attention. I haven't signed up yet, but I am planning to use the two-week free trial to see whether it works for us.

What is Yoto Club?

Yoto Club is a monthly subscription with three different plans to choose from, starting at £3.99 a month. There is a digital-only option, while the higher tiers include monthly credits that can be exchanged for physical Yoto Cards.

All Yoto Club members get unlimited access to more than 300 Yoto Original stories, music and activities, as well as members-only sleep sounds, timers and mixtapes. There are also exclusive connected cards with fresh facts and surprises for children.

The Explorer plan costs £3.99 a month (£29.99 a year), which works out at £2.50 a month when paid annually. It includes the digital Yoto Club library and all the members-only content.

Then there is Collector, which costs £7.99 a month (£69.99 annually). Along with everything included with Explorer, you get one Club Credit each month to spend on more than 850 titles. You also get 10% off everything in the Yoto store and free shipping on orders over £12.

The top tier is Collector+, at £12.99 a month (£119.99 annually). This includes everything in Explorer, plus two Club Credits every month, the 10% store discount and free shipping on orders over £12.

My son loves choosing his own Yoto Cards, so having a monthly credit to put towards a new one feels like a fun addition rather than simply paying for another subscription. I haven't signed up yet, but I am planning to take advantage of the two-week free trial. For us, I think that will be the easiest way to see how much he actually uses the Club content and whether the monthly credit is worthwhile.
