Enjoy an iconic film under a canopy of stars
Christmas and Halloween are set to collide at Stansted Park this autumn, as an enchanting outdoor cinema experience invites families and film fans to watch Tim Burton’s much-loved classic The Nightmare Before Christmas beneath the night sky.
The favourite will be shown on a giant cinema screen on October 4, giving visitors the chance to snuggle up under blankets, wrap up warm and enjoy the movie in a truly magical outdoor setting.
Fancy dress is encouraged, so guests can embrace their favourite characters from the eerie classic. Before the film begins, a specially curated soundtrack will set the mood, featuring songs inspired by witches, ghosts, ghouls, vampires, werewolves – and humans too.

Gates open at 5pm, with the film scheduled to begin at around 6.30pm regardless of the weather so make sure you are prepared for the chance of rain.
With tickets limited and shows known to sell quickly, advance booking is highly recommended for anyone hoping to experience this unusual festive movie night.
Ticket prices start from £17.37, with optional add-ons available. For information about getting tickets to Stansted Park’s atmospheric outdoor cinema, click here.
