These affordable headphones have transformed my commute and I’m obsessed with the sound quality

I didn’t think that headphones were for me, but the Fresh 'n Rebel Clam Fuse Over-Ear ANC Headphones changed my mind.
I’d been using the same pair of wired earphones for years, and had resisted buying any headphones because I told myself that my earphones worked well enough.
But, when I saw the pretty pink colour of the Fresh 'n Rebel Clam Fuse Over-Ear ANC Headphones I couldn’t resist giving them a try. (Other colours are available, but I chose pink because this is my favourite colour. More on that below.)
I’ve now been using them for several weeks, and I’m now seriously regretting not getting myself some sooner.
From the moment I put them on, I was impressed by how comfortable they felt. The cushioned over-ear design sits nicely without feeling too tight, making them ideal for my long commutes or home working shifts. They also fold away neatly, which makes them easy to put in my bag when I am travelling.
The sound quality is surprisingly powerful for the price too. Music feels balanced with punchy bass, clear vocals and enough detail to make playlists sound far more expensive than you’d expect from a pair of affordable mid price range headphones.
The Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling also does a great job of reducing background noise, helping me to properly switch off whether I’m on a train or simply wanting to get in the zone while I’m at home. I even use these in the evenings to listen to music while I go about my everyday tasks and chores to block out the sound of my airfryer, microwave or vacuum cleaner.
The noise cancelling capability has to be my favourite feature and I do wonder now how I put up with my basic earphones for so long, which did not have this feature. They also offer up to 45 hours of battery life, which is a huge bonus as it means I don’t have to constantly worry about recharging and can just keep moving and going about my day.
There are convenient volume control and play/pause buttons which can easily be tapped during use as required too, plus an in-built microphone so that if anyone phones while I’m listening to music I can still take the call and don’t have to go rummaging around in my bag for my phone. The fact that they are wireless means I have more freedom too.
If I do want to take my earphones off, such as when the train conductor comes round to check my ticket, it’s not a probem because the Fresh 'n Rebel Clam Fuse Over-Ear ANC Headphones have enhanced by on-ear headphone detection which means what I’m listening to immediately pauses if I take them off my head and resumes again when I put them back.
Lastly, I also love how stylish they are. A lot of affordable headphones can look bulky or simply too basic, but the Clam Fuse range comes in modern colours including lilac, blue, grey and pink, giving them a much more fashion-forward feel. I don’t like having to buy gadgets in a standard black colour, I think it’s boring, so I really appreciate the colour choice.
