Wowcher’s £41 pressure washer promises 135-bar cleaning power

A portable pressure washer designed to tackle grimy patios, cars and garden furniture has landed in Wowcher’s clearance sale for £40.99.

The 1600W electric pressure washer is advertised with a 74% discount against a stated reference price of £155.71. According to the deal page, 64 have already been bought, including two purchases within the past 24 hours.

Its headline specification is a maximum pressure of 135 bar, produced by a 1600W carbon-brush motor. That puts the clearance pressure washer on paper in the right territory for removing dirt from driveways, decking, paving slabs and vehicles, although buyers should remember that maximum figures do not necessarily represent continuous working pressure.

A working flow rate of up to 7.8 litres per minute is also listed. Pressure provides the force needed to loosen stubborn grime, while a useful flow rate helps wash the dislodged dirt away.

Everything needed to get started is said to be included with the £40.99 outdoor cleaner, including a spray gun, gun lance, five-metre high-pressure hose, adjustable nozzle, detergent bottle and tap connector. A user manual and assembly screws are supplied as well.

Rotating the nozzle changes the spray angle between a concentrated 0-degree jet and a broader 60-degree pattern. The narrowest setting could prove useful for particularly stubborn patches, but it should be used cautiously around car paintwork, timber, pointing and other surfaces that could be damaged by concentrated pressure.

For less aggressive jobs, the wider spray should offer gentler and more even coverage. The supplied detergent bottle allows a suitable cleaning solution to be applied when water alone is not enough, although users should follow the detergent manufacturer’s instructions and avoid products that are not intended for pressure washers.

The portable power washer measures 74cm tall, 31.5cm wide and 25.5cm deep. Built-in wheels and a carrying handle should make its eight-kilogram weight manageable when moving between the driveway, patio and garden.

Its five-metre hose provides some freedom to work around a vehicle or across a paved area, though shoppers with larger gardens may want to check whether that reach will be sufficient. The power-cable length has not been provided in the supplied details, so an outdoor-rated extension lead could still be required depending on socket placement.

Water entering the machine can be as warm as 50C, according to the listing. The washer also features an automatic cut-off system that stops the motor when the trigger is released, reducing unnecessary running between sections.

At £40.99, the 135-bar pressure washer deal costs considerably less than many models from familiar pressure-washer brands. That makes it an intriguing budget option for occasional seasonal cleaning rather than a machine bought for frequent heavy-duty work.

As the offer is marked as clearance, availability could be limited. Customers should check the current price, delivery charge, estimated arrival date, warranty arrangements and redemption conditions before paying.
