Finding room for trusted hair products can be a challenge when travelling, but these compact Philip Kingsley collections offer tailored solutions for repair, volume and smoother hair on the go
It's an eternal pre-holiday dilemma - hope that the hotel has quality hair products or take your own.
I've found some great Philip Kingsley travel sets that take away the guesswork, offering salon-quality haircare in cabin-friendly sizes so you can keep your hair looking its best wherever you're headed.
Whether your hair needs repair, extra volume or a smoother finish, there's a Jet Set collection to suit.
And because it's Philip Kingsley you can relax knowing that whatever collection you choose, your hair will benefit from it. I'm a huge fan of the brand.
The standout for me is the Holiday Repair Travel Collection, which feels like an insurance policy for your hair while you're away. Designed to protect strands from the drying effects of sun, sea and swimming pools, it includes the brilliant Swimcap Water Resistant Mask alongside Elasticizer, Daily Damage Defence and a frizz-fighting finishing product.
It's particularly useful if you're spending long days outdoors or in the water, and I love that it focuses on prevention as well as repair. Hair feels softer, stronger and far less frazzled after a week in the sun. It’s on sale at Philip Kingsley at £33, down from £38.

If your hair is fine and tends to fall flat, the Jet Set Nourish & Volume collection is well worth packing, and there’s currently 22% off so you can grab it for £36. It delivers lightweight hydration without weighing hair down and leaves it feeling fuller and bouncier. The products work together beautifully to boost body while still keeping lengths smooth and manageable.
The Jet Set Body & Volume set, also down to £36, is another excellent option for fine or limp hair - so ideal for me. Featuring Philip Kingsley's Body Building range alongside the cult Elasticizer treatment, it helps create the appearance of thicker, fuller hair while maintaining softness and shine. I particularly noticed more lift at the roots and less flyaway static.
Meanwhile, Jet Set Smooth & Shiny, which was £46 but now at £36, is the perfect travel companion for anyone battling frizz, humidity or unruly hair. It helps tame flyaways, adds noticeable gloss and leaves hair looking polished without feeling heavy or greasy.
All four sets are thoughtfully curated and ideal for slipping into hand luggage. They're not the cheapest travel minis you'll find, but the performance is excellent and a little product goes a long way. For frequent travellers, they're a worthwhile investment in good hair days away from home.

- One for those of you with curly hair - Philip Kingsley Elasti-Styler Extreme Curl Cream, £32, is getting strong reviews online after its launch a month ago. The product is designed to enhance and define natural curls while helping to control frizz and boost hydration. The lightweight styling cream provides flexible hold without leaving hair feeling crunchy or sticky, making it ideal for creating soft, bouncy curls with a natural finish. Early reviewers says the enriched moisturising ingredients help smooth and nourish textured hair and improve curl definition.
