The hands-free rechargeable fan has attracted thousands of recent buyers and is designed for travel, outdoor work, exercise and everyday summer use
Summer has definitely turned up the heat - and what better way to stay cool that with a hands-free neck fan that’s less than £20?
The blue Morelax portable neck fan is currently £18.69 in a limited-time Amazon deal - down from its previous price of £25.99. That’s a 28% saving and cuts £7.30 from the usual cost shown on the listing.
Designed to direct air around the wearer without the hassle of having to carry a conventional handheld fan, Amazon say more than 2,000 have been bought during the past month.
The wearable bladeless fan is also marked as Amazon’s Choice and has an average rating of 4.3 out of five from almost 3,500 customer reviews.
Rather than needing to be held, the fan sits around the neck and leaves both hands free.
Air outlets positioned around the unit are designed to direct a breeze towards the face and neck - handy if you’re on busy public transport, walking, gardening or doing jobs that require you to have hands free.
Three speed settings allow users to choose between a gentler airflow and the strongest available mode. The built-in rechargeable 4,000mAh battery is listed as having an operating time of between four and 16 hours, depending on the selected speed - the lower settings should last considerably longer than running the fan continuously at maximum power.
The rechargeable neck fan charges through USB, making it possible to top up from a suitable mains adapter, laptop or portable power bank.
The curved neck section is made from a soft, skin-friendly material and shaped to sit around the shoulders while it’s small enough to carry in a work bag or backpack when not being worn.
The featured £18.69 price applies to the blue version while a green option was listed at £22.99 when the offer was checked. Other colours or sellers may have different prices and delivery arrangements.
