The robot vacuum cleaner that makes life as busy mum so much easier

If you are looking for a robot hoover that is simple to set up, easy to control from your phone and takes the hard work out of keeping your floors clean, the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete could be exactly what your busy home needs.

As a busy mum, anything that makes everyday life a little easier is always a winner in my book. I have been a fan of robot hoovers for years because they take one more job off my never ending to do list. The MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete £699 (was £999) has quickly become one of those appliances that I genuinely wonder how I managed without.

The first thing I loved was how simple it was to set up. I am definitely not a techy person and I don’t want to spend ages reading instructions or trying to work out complicated settings. Within a short time it was ready to go and cleaning the house while I got on with everything else. That is exactly what I want from a robot vacuum.

I love that once everything is set up, it is pretty much a case of pressing a button and letting it get on with the job. Even better, I can control everything from my phone which makes it really easy to start a clean while I am out of the house or if I know we are about to have visitors. Coming home to freshly cleaned floors without having to lift a finger feels like such a treat.

The vacuuming is brilliant for keeping on top of everyday mess. Whether it is crumbs after breakfast, muddy footprints in the hallway or the endless bits that seem to appear when you have children, it does a great job of keeping the floors looking clean. It also mops at the same time which makes the whole house feel fresher without any extra effort from me. The self cleaning dock is another feature I really appreciate because it takes away even more of the maintenance.

One thing I would say is to make sure you pick up any loose wires before you send it out to clean. Like most robot vacuum cleaners, it can sometimes decide a charging cable or loose lead looks like something it should vacuum up. It is usually absolutely fine, but it is something worth remembering, especially if you are running it while you are out of the house.

If you are another mum who feels like the floors never stay clean for more than five minutes, this is one of those purchases that genuinely helps. It quietly gets on with the job while you get on with everything else, and honestly, that is exactly what I need from a robot vacuum.
