If you are planning to buy a PlayStation this Black Friday, Amazon has just triggered a price war with the cheapest PS5 Digital Edition we have seen all year.
Black Friday is the perfect time to buy a new PS5 but where is it best to get the cheapest console?
We have taken a look at every major seller of the PS5 and used comparison websites to find the cheapest option when it comes to buying the console for Black Friday.
The cheapest PS5 console available for Black Friday is on Amazon. The most affordable entry into PS5 ownership is to pick the digital console. That means you do not get a disc drive and you will have to download your games but you can also get an external drive at a later date for around £70 if you wish.
The PS5 digital console is usually priced around £400 but the cheapest option on the market today is on Amazon, where it has been reduced down to £289 for the console only.
Scanning rival sellers at Very, Argos, Currys and more shows this is the cheapest you can get for the console.
The PS5 with a disc drive is priced at £379 from various sellers in Black Friday deals.
The PS5 Pro is only significantly reduced in one place. Argos has cut the price of the console to £589, which is the cheapest we have seen during the Black Friday sales period.
For those who have found a console deal the best deals on Playstation games can be found on the Amazon Playstation store, which has over 50% off some of the biggest games available on the platform.
They include The Last of Us part one and two, as well as the remastered versions, Gran Turismo 7, Helldivers 2, and the latest games from the God of War franchise. The games are all under £30, which is the cheapest place to buy many of the popular titles.
It is worth keeping that Amazon deals page bookmarked as we can expect even better PS5 deals as we get closer to Black Friday itself on 28 November. Further discounts can be expected on Cyber Monday.
