Electric car owners can pick up a heavily discounted charging cable on Amazon, with prices starting at under £70 for a limited time
If you own an electric car, you'll know that charging leads are pretty expensive. A smart cable, with a decent length, can cost nearly £200. And even a basic cable with five metres is usually around £100.
But we've found one on Amazon for just £69.96 - and it might be the cheapest one on sale right now.
It's a five-metre Type-2 cable, compatible with almost all modern EVs, and it's capable of taking a normal domestic load of 7.2kW, or 32 amps.

There's also a 22kW version available on the same deal page for a remarkable £79.97 - but if you don't have or regularly use three-phase, it's not worth buying.
Whichever one you go for, it's at least a 20% saving over the RRP price, and it could be a great opportunity to buy a spare cable, a second one for use while away from home, or to replace a worn or broken cable. It even comes with a free case.
It is only a five-metre cable, but the 10m version of the 7.2kW cable is still less than £100, and there's an eight-metre version at just £79.96.

The only catch is there's a very short window to grab the deal, it expires on Sunday, March 8. And that's assuming the stocks last.
Amazon Prime members get free delivery on eligible items. Non-Prime customers may pay delivery charges depending on the order.
