A 19p competition ticket could leave one winner with a luxury home in Lancashire, a Spanish villa with its own pool, two seriously desirable cars and £50,000 in cash.
The extraordinary £1.8 million Dream Home & Away Bundle is the latest property competition from Elite Competitions, and the winner will get an impressive collection of prizes spanning two countries.
Alongside the two fully furnished homes, the package includes a 2022 Audi RSQ8 Vorsprung for use in Britain, a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon waiting in Spain and £50,000 in tax-free cash.
Anyone who would rather skip the property purchases and accompanying paperwork can choose a £1.25 million cash alternative instead.
The British half of the prize is a five-bedroom, five-bathroom detached home in Goosnargh, near Preston in Lancashire. Its contemporary exterior mixes white render and brickwork with large windows, while the accommodation includes an open-plan kitchen and living area, landscaped gardens, a garage and private driveway.
Elite Competitions says the Goosnargh dream home will be handed over fully furnished, with its fixtures and fittings included. Fees and stamp duty will also be paid by the promoter.
The second property puts a rather more exotic spin on the usual house competition. Located in Lomas de Don Juan on the Orihuela Costa, the three-bedroom Spanish villa has four bathrooms, a private swimming pool, Mediterranean gardens and several terraces designed for outdoor living.
Beaches on the Costa Blanca are only a short drive away, giving the winner somewhere to spend summer holidays, escape the British winter or make spontaneous trips without searching for hotels and holiday lets.
There is an extra flourish attached to the overseas prize, too. Elite Competitions says the winner will be flown by private jet to view the villa, which is a fairly dramatic upgrade from wrestling with a budget airline’s hand-luggage sizer.
Each property also has a car to match. The black 2022 Audi RSQ8 Vorsprung has covered 45,150 miles and uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing a claimed 591bhp. Equipment includes 23-inch RS alloy wheels, adaptive air suspension, a panoramic glass roof and heated, ventilated and massaging front seats.
Waiting at the Spanish home will be a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Powered by a 272bhp 2.0-litre engine, it comes with four-wheel drive, locking differentials, removable doors and a removable roof.
Entries cost 19p each, with ticket bundles starting at £4.75 for 25. Buyers can also pay £9.50 for 50 entries, £14.25 for 75 or £28.50 for 150.
The live draw is scheduled for 9pm on Monday, August 31, with a maximum of 25,999,999 entries available. A free-entry method is also offered, and prospective entrants should read the full competition rules, eligibility requirements and closing information before taking part.
