When South Parade Pier was the place to be
Much has been made of South Parade Pier and its future in The News in recent months, but this photo from the 1960s shows how it once was.
The pier provided a marvellous view overlooking the Promenade Deck towards the Isle of Wight.
This was such a popular location for locals and tourists alike.
Let’s hope those days will return.
