Obsessing over the weather in a British past time - and this weekend’s high winds and thundery showers were no exception.
Yesterday (June 6), the city was battered by high winds and torrential rain which saw weekend cricket and Portsmouth Pride among the casualties as events were cancelled on the grounds of safety. Luckily the weather held off just long enough for the D-Day commemorations in Southsea.
But today has seen a respite. But it will not last for long with thundery showers set to return tomorrow (Monday, June 8) and rain off and on for the rest of the week, with next weekend set to be dry and sunny.
