WEATHER: '˜Extreme cold' for Portsmouth, warns Met Office
A WEATHER warning has been issued for the Portsmouth region, with temperatures expected to drop below freezing
Today will be cold and largely sunny as any initial patchy cloud quickly disperses.
The brisk easterly wind, becoming strong along the coast, will produce a noticeable windchill everywhere. Maximum temperature of six degrees Celsius.
Overnight, the temperature is expected to drop to minus four degrees Celsius, with widespread frost and a bitter cold continuing through Sunday.
