The halloween display at the home in Ireland Way raised £1,542, and his Christmas light show has already hit £850.

Liam said: “I’m a telecoms engineer, I have no background in any electrics or anything like that so I learnt all of this from scratch and help from other people in the area that also do it.

“I started doing it to find a way to raise money and more awareness for mental health and find a way to get ourselves out there. We did Halloween so we decided to do Christmas as well but this is the first year of doing pixel lighting and LEDs.”

The official light switch on took place on November 21, with special guests including the Grinch handing out mini chocolate santas and candy canes.

Liam previously told The News: “I had a bit of a rough time at the end of the last year and the support I received was absolutely amazing and it’s honestly quite shocking when you speak to the people that work at these charities to hear there is no funding.

“I felt so alone and didn’t know who to talk to or where to go but having support from charities saved me, and I said to myself that I wanted to be a mental health advocate for men to say it’s okay to not be okay, and it’s okay to cry because if you don’t let it out, it will just get worse.”
