Volkswagens decked out in festive lights spread Christmas cheer with convoy across Portsmouth
Volkswagens have lit up the city with a Christmas cruise.
Starting at the Cosham Tax Office, the cars, which were all adorned in Christmas lights, slowly convoyed through Cosham, Hilsea, North End and Fratton before finishing up in Southsea.
Simon Edwards, organiser of the Christmas cruise, said: “We’re a south coast Volkswagen group where we invite any Volkswagen along - old, new, electric - we just try and embrace the whole community and get everyone together.
“Our Christmas cruise is a chance for everyone to come together, spread some Christmas cheer and remind people not to take things too seriously this time of year - it’s all about having fun.
“The nice thing about it is that there’s a mixture of all sorts of cars, all sorts of vans, all sorts of years, and it’s nice to see everyone together from the Volkswagen community.”
