Milestone event promises day of talks, exhibitions and networking with TV presenter Jason Bradbury as host
Tickets can now be snapped up for ‘ the BIG one’ - the 10th anniversary celebration of business innovation across the south coast.
Venturefest South (VFS) has been bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, established businesses and public sector leaders for its Festival of Innovation for the past decade.
And the opportunity is now open to book a place at the milestone 10th birthday event at the Utilita Bowl on November 18 - with the promise of a full day of talks, exhibitions and networking across the South's key innovation sectors, from ocean science and life sciences to creative industries, defence and space, and sustainability.
TV presenter Jason Bradbury, best known for hosting Channel 5's The Gadget Show, has been confirmed as host.
Ed Gould, chair of Venturefest South, said: "This is our 10th year and it really is the BIG one. Tickets are now live for what will be our biggest Festival of Innovation yet, and this year, for the first time, we're welcoming Jason Bradbury as our host."
Since launching, Venturefest South says it has supported more than 50,000 businesses, entrepreneurs and innovators across the region, delivered £1.35m in funded innovation support and helped facilitate more than £250m in commercial opportunities.
With more than 50 innovators, exhibitors and partners at this year's Festival of Innovation, Ed said there will be something for everyone: investor and customer access for founders, supply-chain connections for growing businesses and a direct line to next-generation talent for corporates and public sector leaders. Last year, 95% of attendees followed up on contacts made on the day.
General admission tickets are £50 and include full access to the Innovation Talks Theatre, exhibitor and innovator stands, investor introductions, the VFS Awards and more. Group bookings of eight or more get a 20% discount. Last year's event, VFS25, drew a record 1,386 registrations.
