Tributes pour in for 'selfless angel' who saved three lives after suddenly dying from brain aneurysm
Tributes have poured in for an “inspirational” mother who saved three lives after suddenly dying from a brain aneurysm.
More than 100 people have paid tribute to Tamsyn Collier-Baker after the mother-of-six sadly died from an undetected brain aneurysm, which ruptured last month.
The 45-year-old was rushed to QA Hospital on March 27 after experiencing severe seizures. Despite receiving medical treatment, a scan confirmed she suffered extreme brain damage, with doctors at Southampton General Hospital confirming her condition was inoperable.

In a previous interview with The News Tamsyn’s sister, Rox-Anne Collier-Baker, said: “She saved the lives of three people, so she’s a hero in our eyes. She donated her pancreas, liver and kidneys, so something good has come out of something really traumatic and awful.
“My mum lost her daughter, I lost my best friend and sister, and her kids lost their mother but she saved someone else’s loved ones. She will always be in our hearts and will always be loved and missed.”
Tamsyn’s daughter, Georgia Parrack, said: “She was my mum, and I’m so proud of her. She had her struggles, but in the end she showed just how selfless she was by saving three lives. She will always be my mum, and always my hero.”
Her son, Harrison David, also said: “My mum always put others before herself even after her passing it was her wish to donate what she could to help others. Sleep tight angel.”
Following an initial story by The News, people have paid tribute to the Eastney mum on social media.

Amanda Haylock wrote: “Devastated by the sudden loss of Tamsyn. So sad for all who knew and loved her, especially her children and family. Tamsyn held her children in her heart every day. She was inspirational to me and it seems so many others. I am truly blessed to have known her. She will be forever in my heart.”
Zabrina Hodgkinson said: “Heavan has gained a truly amazing angel. I will never forget you always putting a smile on my face when I was down.”
Nicki Dootson was Tamsyn’s neighbour and she described her as a “lovely” lady who “absolutely adored her kids”.
Rick Charles added: “Not only in life but in death she continued to help others which just says exactly who she is and was as person.”
Rox-Anne has now set up a GoFundMe page, which has raised £990 in three days, to give Tamsyn the “send off she deserves”.
The funds will also pay for the care of Tamsyn’s youngest child, four-year-old Hunter-Lee, who is being looked after by his aunt.
The fundraiser says: “He has lost his mum far too soon, and our hearts break for him. He deserves love, stability, and support as he grows up without her - We want to make sure Hunter is supported and cared for in the months and years ahead.”
Rox-Anne said she was initially “hesitant” to create the GoFundMe but the support she has received is “amazing”.
She added: “It just shows that people did really love her and want to give her a good send off.”
