Travellers depart from Swanmore Recreation Ground - just 20 minutes after notice served by police
The travellers have been promptly moved on, say the parish council.
Travellers who had pitched up in a sleepy Hampshire village have been moved on by police.
Photographs taken this evening (Monday, July 13) show more than a dozen caravans, vans and other large vehicles leaving Swanmore Reacreation Ground in New Road, Swanmore.

As per eyewitness reports, a notice had been served by police roughly 20 minutes before the travellers departed.
Following Wickham Horse Fair in May, various groups of travellers have been moving throughout the Solent region.
Some small waste items have been left behind, but will be cleared away as soon as possible, according to a parish council officer on-site. The council has been contacted by The News for further comment.
Residents say this is the first time in more than a decade that travellers have set up camp at Swanmore Rec.
