Water main bursts on road in Stubbington
EMERGENCY works are taking place on a road after a water main burst.
Temporary traffic signals are in place on Gosport Road in Stubbington after the water main burst this afternoon.

Portsmouth Water staff are at the incident to repair the damage.
A tweet from Hampshire Highways read: ‘A water main has burst on Gosport Road, Stubbington is causing significant issues in this location.
‘Two-way temporary signals are currently in place until Portsmouth Water can complete their repair but, these will be manually controlled at peak times.’
Chief executive Bob Taylor said: ‘We are asking customers to restrict their use of water during the next few days of heatwave, in order to ensure that all customers receive a reliable water supply.
‘Demand over the weekend was the highest in over 10 years and we are encouraging people to use water carefully to ensure there is plenty for personal hygiene needs, something that is so important to combat the spread of Covid-19.’
