M27 road closures will be in place in Hampshire this weekend
CLOSURES on the M27 will affect motorists over the weekend, road workers have warned.
According to Highways England, slip road closures will be in place on the M27 westbound at two separate junctions.
From 10pm on Friday, November 27 until 6am on Monday, November 30, the entry and exit slips at junction nine for Whiteley will be shut, with a series of overnight closures from that night to December 4 on the exit slip road.

At junction five for Hedge End, the westbound entry and exit slip roads will be shut all weekend.
In a traffic bulletin, Highways England said: ‘The junction nine westbound slip road was built decades ago and is much longer than a standard slip road. The work taking place during these closures is to convert the exit to a standard length.
‘All diversions will be fully signed. Drivers using this stretch of road are advised to plan ahead and leave extra time for their journeys.’
