A27 closure: Latest traffic updates as roadworks to continue to cause delays on A3M and A3023 in Portsmouth
ROADWORKS are set to continue on the A27 today.
Highways England are carrying out repairs on the Cosham bridge as part of works on the Havant bypass.
The westbound carriageway of the A27 will be closed between the A2030 Eastern Road roundabout and the Portsbridge roundabout.
Roadworks began at 9pm on Friday and will continue until 6am tomorrow.

Queues built on the A3(M) and the A3023 Langtone Road yesterday as a result of the partial closure of the A27.
The closure will be followed by narrow lanes running over the bridge with a 50mph speed restriction in both directions for up to 10 weeks and is planned to be complete in December.
Work on the bypass – built in 1968 – will include replacing the bridge joints and waterproofing material, resurfacing the eastbound and westbound carriageways and replacing the central reservation over the bridge.
