Warning for drivers over fallen trees after stormy weather
Drivers have been warned of fallen trees following stormy weather on Thursday.
Wind and rain battered the area yesterday with the Met Office issuing a yellow weather until 9pm. Now motorists are being warned of incidents this morning with fallen trees causing disruption.
AA Traffic News issued alerts after a fallen tree had led to Dean Lane closing both ways in Finchdean, north of Rowland's Castle. Several roads have also led to roads being closed both ways from Bepton Road to the A272 near Midhurst.
Meanwhile AA also reported severe delays of 17 minutes and delays increasing on M27 eastbound between J11 A27 (Fareham / Gosport) and A27 (Portsbridge Roundabout) with an average speed of 10mph mph.
The weather today marks a contrast to yesterday with sun predicted throughout the day and highs of 12C.
