Vessel gets pinned under outfall pier in Eastney

Portsmouth Coastguard was called to Eastney at 3.24am yesterday morning.

The team attended the scene with Portsmouth Lifeboat who were able to secure a tow line and take the vessel back into Langstone Harbour.

After checking for any signs of crew, it became apparent the vessel had broken its mooring on the strong spring tides.
