Two cars involved in M27 crash which resulted in partially blocked exit ramp and heavy traffic

There were heavy delays on the eastbound carriageway of the M27 following a crash which was first reported to the police at 7.59am.

The incident, which happened between junction 8 and 9, resulted in the exit ramp at junction 8 A3024 (Bursledon/ Hamble), being partially blocked and caused heavy traffic during rush hour.

The police have confirmed no injuries were reported as a result.
