Three fire crews called to incident at Southsea surgeryÂ
THREE fire crews were called to a surgery amid fears a blaze had gripped this building this morning.
Two crews from Southsea and a team from Cosham were alerted to a potential fire at the Trafalgar Medical Group Practice, in Osborne Road, Southsea at 9.13am.

However, when crews arrived at the surgery, they discovered it was a false alarm, caused by a system fault.
A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: '˜Crews were called to an alarm sounding and smell of burning on the second floor window of a doctors' surgery in Osborne Road.

'˜Three crews attended. The incident was a false alarm caused by a system fault.'
Teams were stood down by 9.26am.
A spokeswoman from the surgery said that there would be no disruption to services for patients as a result of the incident.
A spokesman from Southsea fire station was unable to provide details of what caused the system fault, as crews had not yet returned to the base.
