Police update on M3 crash causing delays onto M27
Police have given details on a crash on the M3 which has caused delays on the M27.
AA Traffic News previously said of the incident: “One lane closed and queueing traffic due to crash on M3 Northbound from J13 A335 Leigh Road (Chandlers Ford) to J12 A335 (Eastleigh).”
The crash has caused delays onto the M27, with the AA adding: “Severe delays of eleven minutes and delays increasing on M27 Westbound between J4 and M3 (Chandlers Ford). Average speed ten mph.
“Severe delays of twelve minutes on M27 Eastbound between J4 and M3. Average speed 5mph.”
AA has now indicated the incident has been cleared but traffic is slower than usual.
Police have given more details on the crash, with a spokesperson saying: "We were called at 8.09am with reports of a collision on the M3 near to junction 13. Two cars were involved and no-one was injured."
