Points failure between Havant and Fareham causes delays and revised services

Southern Rail has advised its customers that services are facing delays and alterations due to a points failure between Havant and Fareham.

Southern Rail wrote on X: “Services running between these stations are being delayed, revised and altered. We are waiting for more information on the delays this will cause to your journey.”

As a result, the following service changes have been put in place:

• Services that run between Brighton and Portsmouth will run between Brighton and Bognor Regis
• You will need to use an alternative service for stations between Chichester and Portsmouth
• Services that run between Brighton and Southampton will call at additional stations between Chichester and Havant (hourly)
