One lane closed on M27 with "severe delays" building on westbound carriageway due to crash

One lane has been closed on the motorway this evening (January 16) as services deal with a crash.
There are “severe delays” of 14 minutes and building on the westbound carriageway of the M27 due to a crash from junction 9 (A27 Segensworth Link Road) to junction 8 (Bursledon/Hamble).
The incident was first reported just before 5pm this evening, with the AA saying: “ Severe delays of 14 minutes and delays increasing on M27 Westbound.”
