Irresponsible motorcyclist speeds through Goodwood Members' Meeting crowd while trying to evade police

A reckless motorcyclist drove through a crowd of pedestrians to evade police at a Goodwood event.

Police are appealing for information as part of their investigation following a report of dangerous driving at the Goodwood Members’ Meeting on Sunday, April 19.

Officers signalled for a black sports style motorcycle to stop, as its number plate was incorrectly displayed.

Instead, the rider continued through a crowd of pedestrians and made off from the scene at speed.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Did you see what happened, or did you capture any footage of the incident? You can report it online or call 101, quoting crime reference 47260102613.”
