Hampshire traffic: M3 closed westbound near Winchester following multi-vehicle crash which has caused a diesel spillage
A section of the M3 has been closed following a multi-vehicle crash with diesel spilling onto the road.
The incident has happened near Winchester on the westbound carriageway on Tuesday, December 16. Drivers are currently experiencing delays of up to 60 minutes.
National Highways posted on X: “Following a multiple vehicle collision and diesel spillage , the M3 is closed westbound within J9 for (Winchester). Traffic officers are on scene and working with recovery agents and contractors to reopen the road.
“There are delays of up to 60 minutes on the approach.”
