M27 traffic latest update: Two lanes of motorway now open after rush-hour collision on westbound carriageway near Southampton Airport
Two lanes have reopened on the M27 after a crash
Two lanes have reopened on the M27 in Hampshire after a rush-hour crash which saw the motorway blocked for a while.
The two outside lanes (lanes 3 and 4) are shut on the westbound side as emergency services work at the scene of the collision, which was between a car and a motorcycle between Junction 7 for Hedge End and Junction 5 for Southampton, near Southampton Airport.

Lanes 1 and 2 are open again, says National Highways, which says there are now delays of 45 minutes and five miles of queueing traffic.
All traffic was held on the westbound motorway for a while.
National Highways has said that delays caused by a separate incident on the other side of the motorway is now beginning to ease. It says all lanes have reopened on the eastbound side between Junction 3 for the M271 and Junction 4, the M3 junction after a “a multiple vehicle collision”.
