M27 crash involving three vehicles leaves person injured as police attend
A person was injured following a three-vehicle crash on the M27.
Three vehicles were seen stationary between junction 7 and 5 westbound following the incident. Police attended the scene amid long queues of traffic.
Delays have now eased but AA Traffic News said earlier: “Severe delays of twelve minutes and delays easing on M27 Westbound between J7 A334 Charles Watts Way (Hedge End) and J5 A335 Stoneham Way (Southampton Airport / Eastleigh). Average speed ten mph.”
Police, giving details on the incident, have now said: “We were called at 9.31am to reports of a collision on the westbound M27 just before junction 5. The collision involved three vehicles. One minor injury was reported.”
