M27 closure: Junction 10 will be shut to motorists this weekend as work continues for Welborne Garden Village
Major work is taking place at Junction 10 of the M27.
Motorists will have to contend with more closures on the M27 this weekend.
Roadworks between Junction 5 for Eastleigh and Junction 7 for Hedge End have ended, with all four lanes on each carriageway finally reopened last month. But some roadworks are still continuing, including at Junction 10 for Fareham.

Here, Hampshire County Council is building a new junction to integrate the upcoming Welborne Garden Village project, to the tune of more than £100m.
Work is taking place this month to connect the new road layout to the existing layout at Broadway Roundabout, as well as carry out drainage works on the M27 westbound off‑slip.
These works will cause some overnight closures at Junction 10, which are beginning this weekend.
The overnight closures will come into force from Friday, May 8 until Sunday, May 10, with the A32 closed in full in both directions. The on and off-slips from the M27 will also be shut.
A further closure will take place between May 14-17, again overnight.
When The News last asked Hampshire County Council about the progress being made at Junction 10, they told us that everything is running on-schedule.
A spokesperson said: “Good progress continues to be made on site, with no delays to date. While we’re not yet able to confirm a final completion date, we hope to be in a position to provide one later this spring.
“We understand everyone is keen to know when the scheme will fully reopen, and we appreciate their patience.”
