London Road hit and run: Police find car involved in Portsmouth incident

OFFICERS have located the car used in a hit and run in Portsmouth.
London Road in North End is shut in both directions between Stubbington Avenue and Kingston Crescent after the collision between a Honda Insight and a pedestrian.
A police spokesman said: '˜We were called at 2.25pm to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian has been taken to the major trauma centre at University Hospital SouthamptonÂ
