Hefty delays of 45 minutes on A3 as emergency services respond to van fire

The A3 is “partially blocked” and there is queueing traffic following a vehicle fire on the northbound carriageway.

National Highways South East wrote on X: “1 lane (of 2) is closed on the #A3 northbound in #Hampshire between the #A3M near #Waterlooville and the #B2070 near #Petersfield due to a van fire.

“Emergency services are on scene and recovery has been arranged. There's a 45 minute delay and 5 miles of congestion.”
