Hefty congestion for drivers attempting to leave Hayling Island following A27 closure

The AA has reported that there is heavy congestion for drivers trying to leave Hayling Island this morning.

The traffic spans the length of Langstone Road and Havant Road northbound on Hayling Island. The traffic is likely to be a result of the A27 road closure which is between Havant and Emsworth eastbound.

There is a significant amount of congestion along the A27 despite diversion routes being in place.
