Portsmouth traffic: Heavy traffic affecting routes into Portsmouth and out of Gosport
As heavy rain batters the region drivers are facing long delays around Portsmouth and Gosport.
The longest delays are being experienced by drivers leaving Gosport and Fareham via the A32 Gosport Road on Thursday, January 15. There are currently delays of 17 minutes and increasing.
AA Traffic News have reported: “Severe delays of 17 minutes and delays increasing on A32 Gosport Road Northbound between A32 and A27 Eastern Way. Average speed five mph.”
However, all routes around Portsmouth are also experiencing heavier traffic than usual with drivers on the M27 eastbound and M275 southbound facing delays. While delays are also building on the A3 southbound as it joins the A27 westbound towards the city.
