Fears of fire at busy train station dramatically evacuated by police
Train station was cleared by police
Fears a fire had erupted at a busy train station proved wide of the park after a dramatic evacuation.

Commuters were told to clear Southampton Train Station around 10.45am today after fears of a fire.
Police attended the scene before it was confirmed there was no blaze - with the station then reopened after the “false alarm”.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Southampton Central railway station at around 10.46am today, August 5, after a fire alarm activated.
"Officers attended and the station was evacuated as a precaution, however it was a false alarm and the station was reopened."
