Eastern Road reopens after earlier closure which saw emergency services on the scene following an incident
Eastern Road has now reopened after it was closed in both directions earlier this evening (March 16) following an incident.
The busy Portsmouth road (A2030) in and out of the city was closed following the incident, believed to be a collision, with reports of a car seen on its roof.

Police and emergency services were on the scene, with a diversion in place.
The road has now reopened, however the closure has led to heavy traffic on other routes exiting the city as a result of the football traffic with Pompey having played at Fratton Park and many football fans avoiding the area.
The M275 remains busy with delays, as well as a build-up of traffic through Hilsea.
