Car fire near M27 leaves road blocked and delays for drivers
The road was fully blocked
A car fire close to the M27 led to a road being blocked.
AA Traffic News said of the incident near junction 7 of the M27: “Partially blocked and queueing traffic due to car fire on B3342 Tollbar Way Northbound from A334 Charles Watts Way to B3035 Botley Road.”
The AA added: “The sensors show that traffic can now pass the scene after a full block earlier.”
A fire service spokesperson said: “A crew from Hightown attended a car fire on Toll Bar way at around 11:40am. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. There were no reported injuries.”
