Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a motorcyclist was left fighting for his life.
As previously reported by The News, a man in his 50s has been rushed to hospital following an incident on the A303 this morning (April 20), having suffered “multiple serious and potentially life-threatening injuries”, according to the ambulance service.

It came following a collision between a motorbike and a van on the eastbound carriageway.
Now, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is appealing for witnesses to come forward, having arrested two people in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for the police force said: “ Police were called at 7.51am on Monday 20 April to a report of a collision on the eastbound carriageway, near the Micheldever exit between the A34 and M3.
“The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and is being treated in hospital.
“A 62-year-old man from Salisbury and a 40-year-old man from Whitchurch have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. They remain in custody.
“We would like to speak to any witnesses and motorists with relevant dash cam footage. If you have information, please call 101 quoting reference 44260183246.”
The road was closed between the A30 and A40, initially in both directions, although the westbound carriageway has now reopened.
