A27 weekend closure sees drivers warned of disruption for works
Work will keep the “important stretch safe and reliable”
Drivers are being warned of a weekend closure of the A27 Langstone Interchange for repair work.
The section will shut this evening (Saturday 26 September) at 9pm and remain closed until Monday (28 September) at 6am.
National Highways said: “We're doing essential works on the A27 at Langstone. They will extend the life of both bridges, improve safety and reduce the noise caused by the ageing deck joints.”
The authority added the works will “keep this important stretch of the A27 safe and reliable for the many thousands of people who use it every day”.
