A27 crash: Delays over Havant Bypass cleared following road traffic incident
Delays have been building on the A27 this evening after a road traffic incident.
Traffic logs on Google Maps showed that the A27 was heavily congested on the westbound carriageway, towards the M275 for Portsmouth.
Delays had built back to the Park Road South roundabout in Havant, with further traffic stuck on the southbound A3(M).
According to reports on X, the cause of the traffic jam was a road traffic incident on the A27, near Portsmouth.
Posting on social media, a spokesperson for Nation Radio South said: “Approaching M275 Portsmouth - rTI in outside lane westbound. Queues back to Havant. Also slow eastbound M27 approaching the scene.”
Drivers were encouraged to avoid the area by driving through Bedhampton instead.
The queues have since cleared, according to reports.
