Sean, a pupil at Grange Infant School, Gosport, said: ‘I nearly ate it. My front tooth had been hanging on a thread – it just fell onto my spoon.’

His mother Terry, of Carless Close, said: ‘The agent was worried it would mean he wouldn’t be able to appear in the advertisement.

‘She suggested sticking it in his mouth with chewing gum, but the producers didn’t mind anyway.’

Although a well-behaved lad, Sean belonged to an agency which specialised in ‘tough’ looking people.
