Teenager struggling with mental health brought to safety after being in Hilsea Lines moat

Police officers attended Hilsea Moat on Wednesday, December 18 at approximately 2:24am following concerns for the welfare of a teenager in the water.

When the police attended they found a 17-year-old, who was struggling with his mental health, in the water.

Emergency services brought him to safety and he was taken into the care of the ambulance service who took him to hospital.
