Spring is in the air!
Portsmouth bathed in spring sunshine today as temperatures soared.
Thermometers rose to 15C at lunchtime with weathermen saying that the warm weather would last through the afternoon.
But the Met Office said that although it will be dry and clear this evening, temperatures will fall quickly to give a chilly night across the region with cloud pushing eastward, with some thicker patches reaching the west by dawn. Minimum Temperature 3C.
The Friday forecast is:
A mainly dry day although cloud will thicken through the morning to give a little light drizzle over the hills. Cloud breaking into the afternoon with some brighter intervals developing. Maximum Temperature 12C.
